Bloomsday Spiral Event
Bloomsday mental health awareness event was a HUGE success! We handed out over 2000 spiral ribbons, tons of spiral tattoos, and reached over 10,000 people! Runners, walkers, wheelers, strollers, spectators, vendors, and volunteers all heard the message of the importance of community, connection, and resilience on mental health and suicide prevention. Resilience saves lives. And this past weekend, everyone who participated made a difference!

As the owner of Specialized Training and Consultation, Staci presents a fresh perspective, a collaborative spirit, and seeks to inspire and support others in their work toward a resilient and connected community.

Experience
Staci Cornwell is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician and certified Child and Geriatric Mental Health Specialist with over 25 years of hands-on experience supporting individuals in crisis from youth to older adults. As the founder of STACIA LLC, Staci brings a fresh, hopeful perspective to some of our most difficult topics and is known for her dynamic speaking style, humor, and ability to turn complex challenges into actionable insight. Her passion lies in changing the conversation around suicide prevention by focusing on upstream, connection-based approaches, and emphasizing resilience as a core prevention tool. She is a trusted expert in the field, and the author of The Five Spirals of Resilience. Her message resonates across industries because it’s rooted in something everyone needs: connection.

Affiliations
Staci is the founder and CEO of STACIA LLC, Specialized Training and Consultation (an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider -ACEP No. 7801), the Mental Health Coordinator for a local school district, and serves as Chair of Prevent Suicide Spokane Coalition. She is an active member of ATAP, IMPACT, and other community coalitions, collaborating closely with schools, first responders, nonprofits, and other partners to build a more connected, resilient community. Her passion lies in equipping others with the tools to support those in need before a crisis begins. She is always seeking opportunities for creative and innovative projects/partnerships that aim to support those in need.

About
Staci's approach to behavioral health is to build resilience in our youth, families, and community so we all can effectively manage the stressors life may bring and be able to successfully navigate through dark times in hopes of not venturing into a crisis situation, but if we do, we are equipped to move beyond it safely. Her intent is to impact individuals before a concern develops and equip others with the knowledge and skills to elevate their support to a resilient community. Through her unique blend of professional expertise, real-world experience, and heartfelt storytelling, Staci aims to empower communities, inspire collaboration, and help people everywhere feel more connected, supported, and prepared to make a difference.
